​Our curriculum is designed to empower and equip students with essential driving skills. It is online and self-paced. Here's what our course entails:

• Flexibility: Study at your own pace within our suggested 60-day completion window for optimal learning.
• Passing Criteria: Attain a minimum average score of 70% to successfully complete the course.
• Study Material: Utilizing How To Drive by AAA and corresponding videos, our curriculum covers a broad spectrum of crucial driving aspects. 
• Key Curriculum Topics Include:
  • Managing risk while driving
  • Getting acquainted with the vehicle you will be driving    
  • Understanding vehicle space needs, control and balance    
  • Starting, moving and stopping the vehicle    
  • Traffic control devices    
  • Managing vision and perception while driving    
  • Managing time and space while driving    
  • Basic maneuvers in a low-risk environment    
  • Interfacing with other drivers on the road    
  • Effects of alcohol and drugs on driving    
  • Effects of distractions, drowsiness and emotions on driving    
  • Adverse driving conditions and emergencies    
  • Purchasing and insuring a vehicle    
  • General knowledge of major vehicle systems    
  • Travel planning, loading, towing and driving special vehicles

Once you've successfully completed the online coursework, your hands-on driving lessons will begin. Here's what to expect:

• Four Comprehensive Sessions: These sessions total 5 hours and 20 minutes of in-depth instructional driving time.
• Driving Assessment: The driving assessment is conducted at the conclusion of these sessions, ensuring a comprehensive evaluation of your skills. There is a potential for early testing based on skill levels (often after the first two sessions).
• Accommodating Schedules: We realize students have many activities, and we are able to work around most scheduling conflicts.
• Pick-Up and Drop-Off: For your convenience, our instructors will pick up and drop  off at your home for students living in West Omaha, Elkhorn, Gretna, Bennington, and Fremont. Students living outside of these areas will need to meet their instructor at a designated location.
• Under Age 18: By Nebraska law, individuals under 18 must hold their Learner's Permit for six months before applying for their Provisional Operators Permit (POP). Obtaining your Learner's Permit at 15 allows for independent driving at 16.
• Students 18 and Older: Students 18 and older may still take our adult course; however, they'll need to test at the DMV as we are currently unable to provide the drive test for this age group. Learn more
